We enjoy going out to all kinds of activities: Hunter-Jumper shows, Dressage shows, local schooling shows, Hunter-Pace activities, the Mimosa Cup, OHTA Events/Trials and Short Courses, Clinics, organized Trail Rides and Trials, and just about anything horsey going on!

We had a great day with Ian Roberts. Our clinic had various groups of riders & horses: Beginner/green (no jumping experience), Pre-Entry, Entry, Pre-Training, PT/Training.
Ian Roberts is one of Canada’s top international eventing riders. Ian Roberts has represented Canada at international three - day Eventing competitions throughout North America and the world: at the Olympics, the World Equestrian Games and the Rolex Kentucky CCI****.
Ian has developed an excellent reputation for his coaching abilities and is a Level 3 Equine Canada coach. He coached Ontario Young Riders teams at several North American championships and many of his former students have gone on to become top Canadian riders. Currently, Ian is Coaching Chairman for the Canadian Eventing Committee.

Overall, a great day!
We had a ‘chat’ on hunters - hunter showing, position, strategy, etc., followed by a group mounted flat session so we could work on hunter under saddle. We had another 'chat' on hunter over fences and did more mounted work 'over fences'.
